Rowing competes at Head of Colorado

The SMU rowing team finished in the top five in three out of four races this weekend during the Head of the Colorado meet.
The Mustangs sent three teams during the women's open 4+; they finished third, fourth and ninth.
The women rowing in the third place boat finished in 18:09.1, which was nine-tenths of a second ahead of the boat that finished fourth.
The Mustangs finished first in the novice 4+ with a time of 18:36.3 and the team's varsity eight teams finished fifth, eighth and 11th.
The Mustangs set out to gauge their improvement during October during their second matchup against Oklahoma. However, the Mustangs did not compete as well as they had earlier in the season.
