There's just something about midnight that can give you the munchies. Whether it's a late-night study break, or the desire to fuel up after a night of partying, we all inevitably experience late-night cravings. But what are you supposed to do when Taco Bell and Whataburger aren't enough?

Try some of Dallas' tastiest late-night spots:

Nandina - Stop in for delicious drunken noodles at this Japanese/Thai restaurant. Nandina offers a wide variety of rice, noodles and curry, as well as a full sushi menu. Be sure to try the spicy tuna role. Bonus: late night delivery. Nandina is located on Lower Greenville at 5631 Alta Ave., and is open till 3 a.m. For more information go to nandinarestaurant.com

Café Brazil - With many locations, a big breakfast menu (who doesn't love late-night breakfast?) and unlimited coffee for just $2.59, Café Brazil is always a great choice. Try the turkey migas. Bonus: holiday flavors, like pumpkin cheesecake. Café Brazil has locations throughout Dallas, but the closest one to campus is at 6420 N. Central Expressway. It is open 24 hours. For more information go to cafebrazil.com.

Buzzbrews - Owned by a one-time manager of Café Brazil, this diner has a lot of the same great perks: limitless coffee, round-the-clock breakfast and affordable prices. Many items on the menu are Mexican-inspired, but the pancakes are a pretty safe bet, too. Bonus: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Buzzbrews is located at 4154 N. Central Expressway. Visit buzzbrews.com for more information.

Village Burger Bar - If you're craving a hearty meal, this trendy burger joint is the best choice. Village Burger Bar has six specialty burgers, salads, paninis and the option to build your own burger. Besides food, the restaurant runs daily drink specials, like $3.25 margaritas on Fridays. Bonus: sweet potato fries. The restaurant is open till 2 a.m. and is located at 3699 McKinney Ave.
