Dear Reader, It's hard to believe the New Year is upon us, but alas-autumn clothing is being marked down and the resort lines are starting to pop up in luxury boutiques. When one reflects on the collections from the past two seasons, one may begin to think of modish opaque/ textured tights with rouged stiletto booties, or perhaps of military jackets with big gold hardware. Once again, the time of year has come when all my friends pick my brain about what to buy their other halves for the holidays. While I'm in no way advocating the notion of changing someone, I understand when he or she wants to give their boyfriend or girlfriend a little nudge in the right direction-improving grooming and sophistication.
