Sex is a personal, private choice

Ed Board says that students should think for themselves

Ed Board does not promote pre-marital sex, but we also do not agree that waiting until marriage to lose your virginity is the only way to go. It's ridiculous that people get so worked up about the whole virginity thing in the first place. If you want to have sex, great. (1) comment

I deleted my Facebook account. Really. I did. Why? Because it became a competition within myself to see how much better I was than people from my past - people I went to elementary, junior high and high school with. Even people who graduated semesters before me in college. (0) comments

As the conflict between science and religion once again heats up, truth is again in danger of being the victim. An academic campus is logically the appropriate setting for the science-religion debate, but it ought not to become a battlefield, lest truth be sacrificed by emotion and freedom become license. I write in response to Lance Webb's April 3 editorial entitled "Premarital Sex Is Like Playing Scrabble." He asserts that there is no moral significance to the act of sexual intercourse, that sex for human beings is really no different than sex for animals - there need only be mutual consent.
