Though the story of Jonah is thousands of years old, Dr. John Holbert, professor of homiletics, told his listeners on Wednesday during a noon discussion in the Hughes-Trigg Forum, the prophet is still alive and is present. An image that was purported to be the design for George W. Bush Presidential Library has been removed from WFAA.com after an inquiry by The Daily Campus. An image of the complex appeared in a story dated March 14, 2007 about the Methodist Church's approval to lease land for the library project. (1) comment

Although an ordained priest since 1958, Professor Charlie E. Curran dresses in lay person's clothes as he addresses his Medical Ethics with a Christian Perspective class. It may seem a little unusual that a Roman Catholic Priest considered by many to be one of the greatest moral theologians of his time would be teaching at a historically Protestant university such as Southern Methodist University. C-SPAN's Campaign 2008 bus will be on campus today to provide information and resources about the election and the U.S. government. On its Road to the White House Tour, the campaign bus is visiting communities, schools and political events in multiple cities and states with the aim of informing voters and teachers and enriching civics education. Dawn Eden, a nationally recognized author, will be speaking to young adults about the importance of relationships and chastity during SMU Catholic's second annual Theology-on-Tap at the Tipperary Inn in Lakewood tonight at 7.
