We're glad to see the debate on campus about the Bush Library complex. Frankly, it should have happened a long time ago. But better late than never. There are important issues that need to be addressed before all of the details get set in stone. We support the library and museum coming to campus, but we still have reservations about the institute's role on and whether it should be here. (15) comments

Dear President Turner, As a proud graduate (BA '66 in Government), the controversy over bringing the Bush Presidential Library and proposed Institute to Southern Methodist University compels me to write directly to you. You are aware of all the arguments that have been made on this issue, whether moral, political, religious or financial. (3) comments

I should have seen it coming. According to Stephen F. Sundlof, D.V.M., Ph.D., director of FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine, "Based on [the] FDA's analysis of hundreds of peer-reviewed publications and other studies on the health and food composition of clones and their offspring, the draft risk assessment has determined that meat and milk from clones and their offspring are as safe as food we eat every day.
