The SMU men's basketball team had a strong win at Tulane, 66-48, Saturday, boosting the Mustangs back to .500 with a 4-4 record in Conference USA and 11-11 overall. This Friday and Saturday, the Women's Center will sponsor the annual campus production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues." A play in which women speak about their complex relationships with their bodies. The performance will be part of a worldwide effort to raise awareness and funds to help stop violence against women. Opera theatre takes on Mozart, adds 21st century twist

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed over 22 operas and vocal dramatic works during his lifetime in the 18th century. Most of these works followed the systematic form of the time, which defined an opera as one of quality. Expression and natural movement was highly scorned in these performances. Full story
